Alternative composite processing technologies offered by Aeroform
includes Resin Transfer Moulding equipment for both R&D
and high volume production requirements, to a wide range of industries.
To support the RTM equipment, Aeroform produces a variety of press configurations for specialist applications. These can be supplied with a choice of heating platens typically electric, oil or steam. Customers’ requirements for temperatures up to 600°C and lock pressures of 2500 tons can be accommodated.
The presses use the Aeroform Press Manager™ control system, a development of the industry standard Autoclave Manager™.
It has the ability to integrate resin melt and download systems with
injection or displacement delivery systems incorporating tooling menus, which can be interfaced to most of the major manufacturing MRP and SAP systems.
